Foraging and Cooking with Adele Nozedar

Adele Nozedar will be teaching you ...

Spend an exciting day learning how to forage and how to use your fresh ingredients over a fire pit and in the cookery school kitchen.

You will start the day with a cup of coffee or hot chocolate at Colliers Cookery School. Adele will be there to introduce herself and then take you off into the surrounding fields with the stunning scenery. You will be fascinated with her knowledge and she will help you find and recognise the plants, fungi and wildlife that our local area has to offer. Once you have gathered until your heart is content, Adele will lead you back to the cookery school.

After lunch, you will be introduced to various ways of using your new ingredients in different recipes, with hopefully some samples to take home.

Adele Nozedar who set up the Brecon Beacons Foraging Company is not only a forager with 21 years’ experience, she is also an author and food writer. Her most recent book is called ‘Foraging with Kids’ aimed at families learning together about wild plants, the environment and the great outdoors.

You will need to bring wellies, waterproofs (hoping that these will not be needed), a basket or bag each and lots of energy!
