Chinese Cuisine with Xiuli Lei

Refreshments will be served upon arrival before Xiuli Lei immerses you into a world of Chinese Cuisine.

You will spend a spoiling day mastering the art of making Chinese dumplings, Bao buns and Chinese scallion pancakes with various vegetarian and meaty fillings.

The format of the day will comprise of:

Having had refreshments on arrival and a chance to read your complimentary recipes you will be introduced to Lei and whisked down to the kitchen.

Lei will do an interactive demonstration on how to make some scallion pancakes with spring onions.  These will then be passed around to be tasted.

There will then be a demonstration on how to make the dumplings and bao buns and then the opportunity for everyone to make their own at their designated workstations.  

An example of the fillings to accompany the dumplings and bao buns are pork with celery, chicken with mushroom and oyster mushroom with egg and carrot. 

There will be plenty to try at lunchtime with your complimentary wine and enough to take home to show off your newfound skill with your family and friends.

A fabulous day out to do either by yourself or with a friend.  We even do the washing up!

Please wear covered, flat and comfy shoes.  Everything will be provided including aprons.
